This was the final project for "Design of Mechatronic Systems 2" course at Mechatronics
Department, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.
we worked in teams of three as a startup company trying to find a technical solution for either
a global or a local problem, our team targeted plastic waste in rivers and worked on designing
an autonomous boat for picking the plastic waste from rivers.
the project had two phases: off-shore operator remote control, and autonomous target tracking
and navigation. phase one, which was the only one implemented due to time limitations, was only
implemented.
